So I caved in and bought the Illumask- and here is my Illumask review. I first saw this anti aging photo light therapy at a Walmart while visiting Phoenix, Az. The reviews were mostly positive, claiming that this device worked really well. Many customers said that they saw significant changes in their skin. And so, I had to try this beauty product! I bought my Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy at a Walgreens for $29.99.
A little information about the Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy is that “this revolutionary LED anti-aging phototherapy mask uses red and infrared light to fight the signs of aging. With the regular use of the illuMask Anti-Aging Phototherapy skin care device you can expect:
- younger looking skin
- visibly brighter, clearer, smoother, more radiant skin
- reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- improved appearance of skin tone and texture
- firmer, more elastic skin” (www.illumask.com)
My first impression of the Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy was there was less light bulbs in the mask than I expected. I used the Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy at night, right before bedtime. I found the treatment to be a little strange, as you can’t really do anything but lay in bed with your eyes closed, for 15 minutes. Surprisingly, while listening to the tv, 15 minutes went by pretty quickly.
At about 10 days of consecutive use of the Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy , I am quite happy with the results. I don’t know if it is due to my other skincare routine, but my skin looks better. I feel that my skin is smoother, glows, and is more refined.
The downside of the Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy is that it only lasts 30 treatments and will need to be replaced. I do think that the Illumask Anti Aging Phototherapy is a great beauty product, and I plan on buying it again.
