Due to the wide array of skincare brands available out there, choosing a beauty product can be overwhelming if not intimidating. When I look for a new brand or products, I generally opt for an all natural line. In my collaboration with Purlisse, I was able to try a brand new product, the Purlisse Blue Lotus Brightening Serum.

I maintained the same skincare routine, introducing the Purlisse Blue Lotus Brightening Serum prior to moisturization. After cleansing and exfoliating my skin, I use a mild toner to gently remove all residue, prepping my skin for the serum. I applied 1-2 pump of the serum unto my fingertips, gently massaging the product to my skin. I followed with my usual moisturizer or cream. The Purlisse Blue Lotus Brightening Serum was light and effective, brightening my skin within a week’s use. Due to sun damage and the cooler weather of Fall, my skin has recently been dry, dull and somewhat lackluster. The Purlisse Blue Lotus Brightening Serum has brought back some light and elasticity to my skin, which was noticeable. This serum also contained an SPF 30, which was much appreciated because any sun protection is always a positive thing. The best part is that this product is free of parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, synthetic colors and fragrance, and animal cruelty.
