Homemade Anti-Aging Serum

Homemade anti-aging serum

Anti-Aging serum often come in teeny tiny bottles and are very expensive.  I was inspired by an anti-aging serum from Kiehl’s, called Midnight Recovery Serum, in making my very own, homemade anti-aging serum. The Kiehl’s serum consisted of several essential oils, many of which I already have.  I created my own homemade, anti-aging serum recipe, which is very easy to replicate.

Homemade Anti-Aging Serum Recipe

1.) 10 ml of jojoba oil
2.) 10 ml of argan oil
3.) 5 ml of vitamin E oil
4.) 10 ml of evening primrose oil
5.)  5 ml of sweet almond oil

In a sterilized container, mix all the ingredients.  Apply a few drops of this homemade anti-aging serum before your moisturizer for a glowing, youthful skin.

*Please not that if you have allergies or sensitivity to certain products, I do not recommend using this homemade anti-aging serum. Always test a small spot on your skin to check for any reactions before use.  If you are not sure of the ingredients or how it may interact with your body, I recommend not using this homemade anti-aging serum.  Good judgement is always recommended when using anything new or experimental. :)

  1. This is a brilliant idea, some anti-ageing products contain very harsh chemicals which I’m always wary about putting on my skin, especially as I’m still in my teens so don’t have any wrinkles to speak of. I’ve heard that ‘prevention is key’ but I’ve always been cautious. This, however, sound perfect! All natural and relatively inexpensive – I’ll give this a go! Xxx

  2. We have two things in common: being fan of Maya Angelou and oils.
