I am obsessive with recycling and now that I discovered upcycling, I have been crafting to create new out of old.  I found this amazing burlap with a damask print in downtown LA and just fell in love with it.  Because online shopping boxes come all the time, I decided to wrap one of these boxes with my super cute burlap, creating my own DIY storage container.  You can use the finished DIY storage container to store many items.  Fill them up with toys, towels, or anything you want!

  2. Great ideas! Thank you for sharing. I think I’d make some to store my fashion magazines in. Just cut off the top & sit it sideways. :)

Btw, wanna follow each other via GFC? Let me know ;)

  7. I do this too!! I take my boxes if they are a great shape and size (if not, they are recycled) and then make them into fancy storage! It’s such a fun idea and saves so much money! Loving that crystally fabric you found, I haven’t ever found any as cool as that! I really like your blog though! I’m glad that I found it! It would be nice if you could stop by my blog sometime too (I’m from England) as I post my outfits and personal style etc! I wanted to wish you a happy holidays too! :) :)
