This winter, I pretty much lived on cozy sweats, skinny jeans and Uggs. It’s just a simple, cozy look that is super comfortable yet somewhat stylish. I like to think so any way =). This USA navy blue sweatshirt was given to me by the hubby and kiddos for the holidays. I think it is from Nordstrom, one of their favorite stores to buy presents from. It is luxuriously soft, light and comfy. It may be my favorite sweatshirt ever.
This cozy sweatshirt look took me back to the days before I started blogging. Ironically enough, I am a pretty private person. I was barely on social media, and even now, I am sporadically taking breaks, sometimes days or weeks at a time. When I had my first baby, I went from working full time to a stay at home wifey and mommy. Not one to sit still, even though a little baby surely takes up so much time, I started a number of hobbies from card making to jewelry making… which led me to discover blogging. As a full time stay at home mommy, I know I was getting too cozy in my sweats and no makeup routine. Why even bother putting on mascara and lipstick when the day will soon be over and you have to take them off again. Blogging was a way for me to get back to part of my old self- which included looking for cute outfits, taking the time to put my makeup on, and simply feeling motivated to look pretty again. Even though I still love a good sweatshirt and comfortable jeans, I take a little more effort to look somewhat put together on most days. I have always loved fashion and makeup and blogging allowed me to get back to this love affair after my first little baby. Why did you start blogging?
