“In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.”
Khalil Gibran
A friendship outing

There are many people that go in and out of our lives. I am fortunate enough to have met many wonderful people, some I still keep in touch with today.  True friends are hard to find, but when you do find them, they are one of the best things in life.  A true friendship, though rare, is almost magical. True friends will share many laughters with you, as well as many tears.  They will be there in the best times of your life, and be there at your lowest. They are always present, standing back only when you want to walk alone.

H often tell me that his friends were the ones that kept him going when he was at the lowest point in his life.  Sometimes we don’t need to share our problems and issues with our friends.. Just knowing that they are there.. and that they will be there… is enough..

Today was a day spent with a friend, one of several girl friends that encompasses a special friendship. We were all thrown in together by chance.  And even though our lives have ventured off in different paths, we still maintain our friendship  We probably would not have been friends in our younger days… We are all different… different personalities… different temperaments.. But we are also the same in many ways… So this post is about friendship… Though there will be times when some friendships will fade off, due to time, life and circumstances.. Here is to hoping that the best ones last forever.
