For one weekend, we met some friends at Legoland, Carlsbad, Ca., ” a 128-acre park geared specifically towards youngsters ages 2 – 12. With over 60 family rides, “hands-on” attractions and shows, LEGOLAND California provides education, adventure and fun in this first park of its kind in the United States,” (california.legoland.com)
This is my first time going to Legoland, and coming from sunny Los Angeles, I did not expect the weather to be significantly colder, especially since Carlsbad is located south of LA.
For the night, we opted to stay at Legoland Hotel for convenience. The room was cute, with a king sized bed in the main room and bunk beds tucked in a quaint little room. The decor is not exactly to my taste, but I think this is the norm for hotels in most amusement parks. (We had stayed at a hotel inside Downtown Disney with similar decor.)
Legoland was definitely a fun experience, even better when shared with friends.
